One of the most poignant challenges of our time is that of building psychological resilience fit for our ever-changing world. The requirements for personal resilience start from a young age.
A recent UK Government study found that in an average class of 30 15-year-old pupils: three could have a mental disorder; ten are likely to have witnessed their parents separate; one could have experienced the death of a parent; seven are likely to have been bullied; and six may be self-harming.
We want to do what we can to help children and adolescents build a toolkit to protect themselves and give themselves the best chance of growing into happy and confident adults, who in turn will contribute to the health, well-being and prosperity of our society.
About Happy Space
One such organisation that will benefit from our support is Happy Space UK.
Happy Space is a mental wellbeing charity, dedicated to helping students ask and answer the question “Why don’t I feel okay?”. They aim to provide students with a wellbeing toolkit in order to help protect the minds of a future generation.
We are proud to be supporting them and would encourage you to take a look at what they have been doing to contribute to the health and well-being of young people in our society.
