LAVA Advisory Partners sets £20k fundraising goal for NSPCC in London Marathon 2024

LAVA Advisory Partners announced today that team members Loic, Ivo, Hamish, and Simon are preparing to face the TCS London Marathon in April 2024. They’re not just aiming to cross the finish line in good time but are on a mission to raise £20,000 for the NSPCC.

The NSPCC has led the way in child protection for over a century, a mission that LAVA proudly supports. As a certified B Corp, LAVA is dedicated to using business as a force for good. This includes the commitment of allocating 2.5% of their yearly revenues for charities, with a special emphasis on those that support the mental wellbeing of children.

In the past, LAVA’s charitable contributions have included support for Happy Space UK, which provides mental well-being tools to students, and funding for UNICEF’s work in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.

Additionally, LAVA’s involvement in the Learn 2 Live Youth Clinic, a venture initiated in Summer 2023, aims to aid teenagers with mental health issues, showcasing LAVA’s dedication not only through donations but also through strategic partnerships and projects.

Running a marathon is quite a jump for some of us more accustomed to marathon management presentations. However, as always, the LAVA team are up for a challenge and will be fuelled on by an incredible cause. I’m looking forward to seeing if our boardroom stamina translates to the track!
