Clare joins us from the Australian asset management firm, First Sentier Investors, where she played a pivotal role in defining the company’s growth blueprint. As Senior Manager in Corporate Finance she led the firm’s inaugural transaction, running a complex cross-border transaction, gaining unparalleled client-focused insight and positioning herself to intimately understand the complexities firms face in the M&A landscape.
During her extensive tenure with KPMG, which spanned over a decade, Clare accumulated a wealth of expertise in areas such as transaction services, valuation, financial modelling, strategy, and corporate finance. Her involvement in diverse sectors, from consumer & retail to aerospace and defence, combined with her experience in deals ranging from midmarket to multi-billion-pound ventures, ensures that she consistently gives her clients a competitive edge in M&A. Her early focus on private equity further enriches her broad and versatile skill set.
Before joining KPMG and First Sentier, Clare worked for Société Générale as an Analyst, where she managed leveraged finance transaction investments. This role equipped her with a nuanced understanding of complex financial situations and the subtleties of credit markets.
A Chartered Accountant with first-time passes, Clare also holds a business degree with a focus on finance from the renowned Cass Business School.
